"The location is superb - the view is idyllic and the location is calm and quiet. For access to Groningen, the Park and Rides are very accessible, but you can also strike out to the north of the region to visit the many natural wonders. From here, even the amazing fortress of Bourtange is less than an hour away. The property itself is well appointed, and has all you need for a self-catered base. We travelled with a two year old, and a cot was provided promptly and there was excellent communication with the hosts (they were on holiday when we visited, but are normally around - nonetheless they made sure everything was OK, were contactable for us and had local help to set things up for us). The facilities are good, with modern television for when you are tired of looking at the stars from the patio furniture. We came for only a few nights as a stopover on our way further east into Europe - but we are definitely planning to return here when we next holiday in this part of the world."

"For very hot days would be nice to have some blinds for the main big windows, and maybe a fan . But we know that really hot days are unusual. We loved the place all in all and the welcoming atmosphere 🫶🏼"

"twee slaapkamers elk met eigen badkamer en wc, en ruime woonkamer met keukenhoek. Alles netjes en schoon. Weids uitzicht over Groningse akkers, gelegen in een mooi piepklein dorpje. Vriendelijke en behulpzame beheerders."

"Behalve het kleine dorpje zelf is er niet veel te wandelen in de buurt."

"Das sehr schön eingerichtete Schlafzimmer befindet sich im 1. Stock und ist über eine in den Niederlanden fast überall zu findende sehr steile und schmale Treppe zu erreichen. Neben der separaten Toilette befindet sich im Schlafzimmer ein Waschbecken und hinter einer Wand ein offener Bereich mit einer sehr schönen und sehr großen Dusche. Dahinter in der Dachschräge eine Badewanne. Im Erdgeschoß gibt es noch einen kleinen Wohnraum mit einer weiteren Schlafmöglichkeit, einer Kaffeemaschine und einem kleinen Kühlschrank. Sehr schöne und sehr ruhige Lage, eigenen Hauseingang. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Sehr hilfsbereite freundliche Gastgeber."
