"Spacious studio in a small, well maintained complex. Pool and BBQ much appreciated. A little walk to the beach and town means quiet at night, away from the clubs and bars."

"Some high windows without shades allow light in from maintenance shed at night. Suggest room darkening shades for these."

"The location is great, close to the beach and in nice surroundings. We spent a lot of time at the pool, colling down on a hot day. The communication with the hosts went smoothly, and we got some good tips from the lady there. This is a lovely place to stay, highly recommended."

"The accommodation is very clean and up to date. It's a little outside the city (15 minutes on foot), but that also means more peace and quiet. A large swimming pool allows you to cool off at the end of the day. There is a bit of a lack of kitchen equipment to cook adequately."

"The townhouse is located in such a good location. It is close enough to all the fun and excitement of downtown San Juan Del Sur but yet far enough that you can escape to the calm beautiful retreat of the property. And of course, the monkeys!"

"Great stay! The apartment is beautifully decorated and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped, and since the place is so airy, we didn't even need the AC at night. We also loved the small, very clean pool!"

"Wir haben unsere Reisepläne kurzfristig geändert und konnten vor Ort noch eine Nacht stornieren, obwohl die Stornoregel besagt, dass nicht mehr storniert werden kann. Das und er Empfang war insgesamt: sehr nett. Die Küche ist groß und gut ausgestattet. Es gibt einen Bereich zum Wäsche aufhängen und einen kleinen, hübschen Aufenthaltsbereich. Wir hatten das Zimmer ganz am Ende, das auch Balkonmöbel hat und am ruhigsten liegt. Die Zimmer sind gepflegt und zweckmäßig, aber schön gestylt. Man ist schon fast im Zentrum und zum Strand ist es auch nur ein paar Minuten. Restaurants und Läden, ohne dass man weit laufen müsste."

"Le personnel est adorable et toujours disponible. La chambre est bien équipée, avec la climatisation et des ventilateurs, ce qui rend le séjour très confortable. "Best surf hostel in El Transito. On the sea front, great areas to relax, good boards to rent, fav kitchen facilities, lovely staff and the dogs are a bonus. They also have a bar!"

"The hostel is within walking distance of the bus station and it is located slightly up in town. Thus, the view over San Juan del Sur and out to the ocean is spectacular. There are a lot of chairs and hammocks to chill out in. Breakfast was included and I could choose between typical local breakfast and pancakes (both very good). The town with supermarkets, restaurants and the malecon along the beach is all accessible. Make sure to visit the statue and the light house (opposite)."

"I had a fabulous stay at Todo Bien. My accommodation was really beautiful - attractive and rustic, but amazingly comfortable too. I was delighted by the location in the jungle and the profusion of wildlife in the area. The grounds are gorgeous with lots of sunny or shady places to relax and read when you want to. I loved the outdoor pool in front of the main building. The walk to the lovely beach doesn't take long, and is well worth it. Yannis was a fantastic host while the owners were away. He was friendly, helpful, and very thoughtful about the guests' individual needs. The local staff were great too. Breakfasts were generous and delicious, and the two dinners I had were really enjoyable too. The owners were easy to contact if necessary. I'm very grateful to everybody involved for their part in making Todo Bien such a special place."
