Beach House Lodge

"The Beach House Lodge is a gorgeous venue in a lovely location. Albeit a long drive. The rooms are spacious and well provisioned, alot of care has been taken in their positioning and build to maximise guest comfort. All have lovely views over the water. The complimentary mosquito coils and sprays made on site were a nice touch. The pool is also lovely and positioned by the lagoon and so an easy walk from beach to pool, also the free kayaks were great to explore the shallow lagoon."

"If you do not self cater, the food is very expensive so be prepared. Although the food made on site is also very delicious. For New Zealanders, the prices are very high. Also make sure you communicate an arrival time, as if you arrive early and they are not expecting you, a wait in the heat is not pleasant, and food can go off."

"Stunningly located compund with absolutely lovely wooden beach houses. Our house was on top of the green hill, overlooking ocean lagoon. We had fully equipped kitchen, large living room, spacy and comfortable bed in the open bedroom connected to living room - all nicely furbished. Our favourite spot was - however- bathroom with the skyview- unroofed, walled space on the side of the chalet. We ordered dinner every night- fruits de mer were fantastic. I would higly recommend House Bach Lodge for a relaxed, comfortable stay in an unbelievably peaceful surrounding."

"We had a wonderful stay. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away. The food was excellent—especially the pre-ordered dinner meals, which were a real highlight of our stay. We also loved that equipment like kayaks was provided free of charge, making it easy to enjoy the surroundings. The location itself was peaceful, secluded, and perfect for switching off completely. We truly enjoyed being away from it all and would happily return."

"Beach House Lodge is a little piece of paradise and definitely the best place we stayed in New Caledonia. Beautifully designed, with every detail considered and wonderful staff. We couldn't fault it other than we wanted to stay longer! The cottages are fully self catering and very spacious. You can also eat at the charming restaurant if you fancy a treat. We had a wonderful breakfast looking out over the ocean. The grounds are beautiful, with wild horses roaming the property and amazing sunrise and sunset views. Free access to kayaks and paddle boards means you can access the local marine park at your leisure and if the weather isn't good there is a very well equipped games room and library at your disposal. Jeremy and Sarah are wonderful hosts who are very happy to help and organise local adventures. It's also very eco friendly. Ticks all the boxes and excellent value for money."
