Located about 5 km from the Mata-Mata border post into Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Torgos Safari Lodge is ubicated at the dry Auob River and offers game viewing opportunities.The lodge has an outdoor pool and menjador. The chalets are secluded and each is facing the riverbed. They have an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The room comes with a ceiling fan, a wardrobe and tea-and-coffee making facilities. Meals are served at the main lodge and there is also a BBQ area. Activities offered at the lodge include game drives and excursions to Kgalagadi Park. The village of Koes is about 2 hours' drive away.

"We had a fantastic time at Torgos Lodge. The location was perfect for us to visit the Kgalagadi TNP as day visitors every day via the Mata Mata border post. The accommodation was fantastic: clean, well-equipped and with amazing views of the wildlife along the dry riverbed. Jaco was a gracious host, looking after us carefully, and Mariam & Sonnety kept us well fed with delicious food. Thanks to them and the team. All in all excellent hosts that really added to the experience - we’re counting down the months until we can return!"
