The quiet Namib Guesthouse is 10 minutes’ walk from the beach and Swakop River. Located in Swakopmund, it provides rooms with free Wi-Fi and plasma TVs. Shopping centres are nearby. Wooden floors and actual furniture are standard in all Namib rooms and suites. Each has a plasma TV, a laptop-size safe and a tea/coffee station. The colourful walls are decorated with prints and wallpaper. English or continental breakfast is served each morning. Guests have full access to the honesty bar in the dining room.

"What a gem! Located on a quiet street walking distance to the city centre, this guesthouse is like a little oasis in the desert. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, and the communal courtyard was a nice place to meet and chat with other guests. The breakfast had a good selection of locally made salamis. Staff was fantastic, super friendly and helpful. They recommended us a 4x4 hire company, organised a taxi to Walvis Bay and even put us in contact with their salami supplier! Thanks so much ladies, you made our stay in Swakopmund enjoyable and memorable."
