"The house is truly unbelievably beautiful, with wonderful finishes throughout — congratulations. The location is stunning and breathtaking, and the existing equipment is of excellent quality, including the bedsheets and other amenities. Overall, we had a very special and enjoyable stay. We were very well received by Raymond and Shani and well looked after by Lucia, which made the experience even more pleasant. Overall, we had a wonderful time."

"That said, there are a few points we would like to share as constructive feedback. 1. It would have been helpful to have a clearer understanding of the location in advance — particularly that the beach is quite a walk away, and that purchasing basic items also requires a significant walk. We have no issue with a sporty or active holiday, but we would have planned slightly differently had we known this beforehand (specially id you are with small children). Related to this, given the location of the house, we believe that transport from and to the boat on arrival and departure days should be included as part of the stay. It is otherwise very difficult for guests to carry their luggage to the house without additional cost or complex organization. 2. In terms of equipment, during our stay: > the washing machine and dishwasher were not working > the downstairs shower overfloating with water of the kitchen sink, etc. not usable 3. Finally, considering how much time guests spend outdoors, we would recommend adding: > some form of shading at the beach > deck chairs on the veranda We share this feedback in a positive spirit, as the house has enormous potential and is already a very special place. "This was my fourth stay at Vila Achado, and once again, it was a great experience. The location is amazing — just a one-hour boat ride and a short “bush taxi” from Maputo, and suddenly you’re surrounded by ocean, dunes, and greenery; And at night, with no light pollution, the sky is so full of stars. The house is very comfortable and well thought out. It’s beautifully designed, with a great kitchen, nice details everywhere, and amazing views — even from the outdoor shower. I’ve been here with my family (kids over seven) and with friends, and the house easily fits two families. I’ll keep coming back. Watching whales, running on an empty beach, bodysurfing with the kids, snorkeling in the bay, and ending the day with a cold beer and dinner at Bemugi’s deck — that’s my idea of a perfect holiday."
