"First impression was good, and the one guy running the property was great."

"1. No running water after midnight; toilet for 3 people became a problem 2. The hotel is right next to a church, and they rang the bells at midnight and at 05:30 - no sleep 2.5 - Not every day, but also fireworks started at 05:30, right at sunrise, with 5 to 10 loud explosions every 15 minutes onward; I went to ask the people with the fireworks, they confirmed the church bells every day same time, fireworks only on our particular Saturday 3. Holes in the towels 4. The furniture was falling apart; one chair would've broken if anyone sat on it; bedposts were broken Bad experience all around; we left the same day, moved to the Cholula / Angelópolis Holiday Inn Express."

"La reservacion no incluye desayuno y no respetaron el precio de la pagina de booking, solo aceptan pago en efectivo, no hay Aguascaliente, tuve que llamar por telefono porque tampoco hay recepción."

"Que la muchacha me dijo Que no sabia porque booking los tenía como opcion de alojamiento, si la dueña del hotel ya lo había dado de Baja. No me respetaron el precio de booking, y no tiene desayuno incluido en la tarifa"

"The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. There was a slight language barrier as my Spanish isn’t great, but we managed just fine. The rooms are very spacious and were cleaned every day. The courtyard area is very pretty. The location is about a 20 minute walk to the main square, which we didn’t mind as the area felt very safe. There are also local shops, markets, and restaurants nearby."

"Staff was friendly & cooperative. Communication through Booking.com was very inefficient and quite frustrating. PrePayment process in person 2 weeks prior to check in was somewhat onerous as person did not speak English. However our requests were honoured and all staff was cordial - especially gentleman looking after storage of all our luggage and security staff overseeing the safety of our Oversize rental van was excellent. The hotel is well-situated and convenient. However it is very dated and facilities are run down. Water seepage caused a significant flood in the bedroom of one unit. Fridges are practically useless. The beds are like burial slabs they are so hard. Also unfortunate that you have no restaurant or even a cafe for guests to eat in. But we appreciated the economical price of this budget accommodation as we required 3 rooms for our extended family and that the prices were not hyper-inflated due to the eclipse as they were everywhere else."
