"Quaint boutique hotel close to the beach and a 10-minute walk to the shops. Enjoyed the restaurants and there was a nice coffee shop close to our room. Overall this is a really nice place to stay."

"WiFi was not available in room and only worked poolside. A kettle and French press was supplied but coffee in a pouch used in drip machine so made very week coffee, should have a proper coffee maker in room. A small refrigerator would also be welcomed. The a/c unit was very noisy."

"Pool was great, service was awesome, beach was good but would have loved to been able to swim in ocean but the waves were too high and rough. The room was average. Food served poolside was very small portions and quite expensive. the restaurants served really good food but again expensive."

"Specifically, the tours offered on-site need improvement. We did the waterfall tour. It was more expensive than booking it online. The pros are they are small group (there were only 8 of us), an excellent driver who engaged with us in the waterfalls despite language barriers, and the van was comfortable. It also included a sauna (steam bath) back at the hotel -which was very nice. The cons are they have done no training with their so-called guides. Ours didn't even do the basics like introducing herself, offering drinks, letting us know about bathrooms etc. She gave no information at all about what we were doing. My husband and I actually debated as to whether she was the guide or the driver was giving her a lift somewhere. Also, if you're paying by credit card, make sure they don't automatically convert it to your home currency. I didn't notice that they'd done that and got significant service charges (that I wouldn't have paid if they had charged me in Mexican.)"

"Good choice of varied resturants all on site. The meals/drinks we had were excellent. Rooms facing mountainside good for peacefulness and bird watching. The QB feels private and safe being located at the end of Chahue Beach. We also felt the hotel was not too big, was well laid out and well run. The unimpressive lobby area belies the rest of the hotel. Easy 15 min walk into La Crucecita or a bit further to Santa Cruz area."

"Liked pretty well everything. The poolside drinks/food prices were a bit high, so too tours and taxis arranged through the hotel."

"It was a good hotel, its in front of the beach and have a nive enviorement, so you can relax easily and take a lot of tours. Also, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean. I love that every day the hotel have some show or event"

"In general everything was OK but now (2025) the hotel has an "extension" with new rooms and naturally more guests. It was a little a pitty that the quite place we remembered. Also, they should take into account the experts feedback that night shows in front of the beach (lights and music) can interfere the turtles activity."
