"The pool was good and there were some shops around the hotel that were nice."

"The room I booked was not available. I requested 2 beds with balcony and was given 1 bed and no balcony. We had to get 2 different rooms and only 1 had a balcony. The balcony room was facing the busy street (highway) and was very, very noisy. I would not recommend this place."

"Really liked the pool area, rooms kept very clean, the location was very close to good restaurants and the beach as well as convenience stores. Staff was friendly and enjoyed the included breakfast, cinnamon flavored coffee was excellent!"

"In a 3-month stay in Mexico, I'm certain my single night in PV at Hotel Suites Mar Elena will win the award for Best Sleep. I loved everything about it: beautiful hotel with fabulous king-sized beds, a hot shower, and wonderful breakfast in such a pretty open-air setting. The terrace and pool are brilliant. The Plaza Las Glorias location is ideal for the bus stop, a good ATM on the corner, and a quick walk to the ocean. Staff was extremely pleasant, and allowed us to leave our luggage their for a few hours after checkout. I will definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to other PV visitors."

"I didn’t like that there was not even a bottle of water in the room upon check-in. I also didn’t like the breakfasts or the way the breakfast staff handled service. We’ve been coming for the second year, and I should note that breakfasts have improved. Before, it was only sweet pastries with the same menu every day. Now the menu changes slightly and includes sandwiches, but it is still very limited and boring. After taking one sandwich and coffee to try, I left and then returned to get another one, but I was refused service and ended up hungry. It’s “one person — one breakfast,” but what exactly is included and why I couldn’t take anything extra was unclear to me. This kind of stinginess and pettiness really spoils the overall vacation experience."

"We had an apartment so it was spacious and had cooking facilities. The bed was comfy and the room had blackout blinds, the location was also quiet so we were able to rest well. The room was always very clean. Aircon was effective and showers were hot. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is perfect - plenty of bars/restaurants/amenities nearby by. Easy to get into the centro and romantic area - 25 min walk to centro if you like walking or 10pesos for a bus which stops right outside and runs every 2 minutes."

"The room was spacious and nicely presented, with both the room and facilities kept very clean. The highlight was the pool on the 4th floor, which was a good size, clean, and very inviting. The pool area itself looked pleasant and was a nice spot to relax and spend some time"

"The air conditioning in our room was quite noisy, and the curtain rails were not working properly, positioned in an odd way that made them difficult to use. The closet door also slammed against a protrusion that housed the curtains, which was inconvenient. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing and could be improved."
