"És una meravella d'hotel en un antic convent arreglat amb molt de gust. Hi vam anar per les festes de Nadal i estava molt ben adornat. Està molt ben situat i pots anar a peu a qualsevol lloc d'Oaxaca."

"The location was very good, close to the markets, restaurants and beautiful buildings. The room was a little on the small size but we did get the basic room. The wardrobe however, was not really useable as it did not have shelving inside it. A mini fridge would have also been a nice addition so that we could of had cold drinks in our room. The hot water was very good. We were also able to drop off our bags in the morning and check in later on. The hotel had a nice boutique feel, it was very cosy."

"This is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The building is just gorgeous, with a covered courtyard for eating, a good sized pool and several terraced areas covered in lush green plants and cacti. It feels very Oaxacan with brightly coloured walls and tiling. The location is perfect, just two blocks from the main pedestrianised street which links the Zocalo to the other main square. Leave the hotel and you are in the thick of things within 3 minutes - the hotel is a perfect oasis from all that hustle and bustle when you're sitting on a quiet terrace or chilling in the pool."

"Because it's a historical building, rooms are small and the furniture they include is not thought through to make the most of the small spaces. Windows also open onto the courtyard or terrace areas so there is limited privacy. The beds were ok but small and not that comfortable. We had two rooms and the air conditioning did not work in one of them. The showers were poor too - they need to replace the showerheads as the water goes in all sorts of directions!"

"The location is fantastic, a couple of minutes walk to the main parts of the city. The swimming pool is great, hardly anyone used it so we had good swims in it but not sure how busy the hotel was. The hotel itself is absolutely lovely if you are looking for a truly authentic Mexican hotel. Friendly staff."

"The water was only lukewarm but I think that is a Mexican thing as our friend was in a really expensive hotel, about five times the price, very near CasAntica and his water was the same. The restaurant was ok for breakfast but didn't seem to be open in the evening. One evening it was absolutely pouring with rain and they didn't serve any food or even have the bar open and it was only 7.30pm."
