"Overall a very good overnight experience. The Location was great to explore the historic city center. Hotel/room was "simple" but clean and totally ok for one night. Our room was facing the street, but it wasn't noisy at all. We had a good sleep. Breakfast was included in the room rate and exceeded our expectation (based on some other reviewers experience)."

Allthough we kept the hotel informed about our expected arrival time, the room was not "prepared" (switch on the A/C some time before our arrival). "Hotel: The hotel is perfect, featuring typical architecture. Room: Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the bathroom was fantastic and everything was very cozy. Service: I want to highlight the cleaning lady, who was very warm and always kept the room neat. Also, a big thank you to the lady who served us breakfast. Excellent service. Location: Perfect location! In the center. Breakfast: Good breakfast, you have different options for different tastes. I highly recommend staying here."

"Staff: Unfortunately, the evening/night staff receptionist left a lot to be desired. They were cold and seemed overly focused on payment, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. It felt like they were constantly hovering, worried that we might leave the hotel without paying for something. This "pushing" attitude was not just directed at us, but we observed it happening with other guests as well. At one point, we even saw a receptionist anxiously waiting on the stairs for guests to leave their rooms so they could charge them for something. It made me wonder: if I already paid 600€ at check-in for our stay (I decided to pay for everything upfront on my arrival to make the staff feel calm) do you really think I’d leave the hotel without paying for 2€ of tortillas? This chasing approach made me feel uneasy. If the hotel staff is so worried about unpaid bills, I highly suggest asking for a credit card upfront to ease their anxiety. Chasing guests around the hotel for small payments is not a professional or welcoming way to handle things. The hotel itself could have been perfect, but the evening reception staff’s behavior and coldness really took away from the experience. I hope this feedback helps improve the service for future guests. This part of the review is more of a constructive critique for the hotel manager and I truly believe things can improve!"

"Great location close to the zocalo, lots of restaurants and near a few tour pick up spots. Had a water refill station available at all times which was handy. Bed was comfy and facilities clean. Staff able to hold our luggage for us before check in was ready. Shower temp/pressure was OK, but could've been a bit better."

"This was a great place to stay for visting Oaxaca. We were within a short walk of the central square, with many restaurant alternatives available. It has a really nice place to sit on the roof. The rooms were large, well-appointed, and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. All the staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. There is really nothing but positive to say about our experience there, and, if we were to return to Oaxaca, we would re-book there without hesitation."
