"Dan and David were amazing hosts, they were really welcoming when we arrived showing us around and making us feel at home. We stayed with my mum and dad and had our first breakfast cooked by the hosts which was delicious and they went out of their way to not only arrange, but bake a homemade cake for my mum's birthday which made the stay really special. The rooms are beautiful, kitchen well equipped and we loved getting free access to the Yalku lagoon nearby. It was such a better experience than staying in a hotel and the sunsets from the rooftop were amazing."

"Lovely, well cared for villa and garden in Akumal North. Secure and welcoming in a very safe neighbourhood. Close to the beach, lagoon and restaurants. Akumal North on Half Moon Bay is away from the throngs, yet within walking distance of Akumal Beach for more restaurants, tours and amenities. David, Dan, Bambi and Esther, were wonderful hosts who even upgraded our suite as a larger one came available."

"Outstanding home on a secluded and quiet part of town. The apartment had absolutely everything you could imagine, and even well beyond that. We loved the rooftop, and I took every opportunity to be there. Now you will need a car to get there, so that should a clear cut expectation. For swimmers there are lot of swimming opportunities the Yal Ku lagoon is amazing."

"Great Stay at a Budget Hotel I recently stayed at this budget hotel and was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. There was always someone at the front desk, usually the owners, which made me feel very welcome and safe as a solo traveler. My room was small but to be expected; both the fridge and air conditioner worked silently, allowing me to get a good night's sleep. The shower had warm water, which was a nice comfort. The hotel is well looked after and it is only a 10-15 minute walk to downtown where all the music and action is. Highly recommended for a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay! "
