Caribo Cozumel

"Està situat a 1km del port on està el moll del ferry. En taxi et cobren 50 pesos. Vigileu el taxi 666 us voldrà cobrar més. Pots anar caminant als llocs propers al port. La Cecília us atendrà molt amablement. Pregunteu-li referències ja que dóna bons consells. Les habitacions estàn nétes i tot i ser antigues són maques, amb lavabos reformat. Tenen una cuina oberta que pots utilitzar i amb cafè gratuït fins que s'acaba. L'aigua et demanen 5pesos si reposes l'ampolla que t'han deixat a l'habitació. També ha anat molt bé el servei de bugaderia per 250 pesos per 10kg. Tot nét i plegat a l'habitació. És petitot però la qualitat-preu molt bo!"

"Good shared kitchen, they fixed the bathroom door that wouldn’t stay closed (after I asked them to fix twice), good little bar fridge in room, they fixed a leaky tap after I mentioned it. Provide a chair, but no desk."

"Room 10 is surrounded by 2 sets of stairs & people make a lot of noise when they use the stairs, other guests can be loud at times, no TV (good or bad?)."

"We had a lovely stay at Caribo - perfect for a couple of nights! The room was nice and clean, good shower and very comfy beds. A couple more hocks for hanging clothes and towels would have been good and a side table lamp. The communal kitchen was great and nice to have communal spaces - it would have been nice to have some outdoor furniture to sit on! But overall a lovely stay and would come back - thank you."

"The property was clean and comfortable. The in-room facilities were good and the free coffee in the morning was a bonus. The location was good with good local restaurants and only a 15 minute walk from the ferry ports. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone."

"The on,y blemish was that we hired a scooter through the hotel for the day having been quoted 500 pesos. When the guy came he charged us an additional 50 pesos tax. The amount quoted should be the total or it should be clear that 10% tax is applicable."

"The room was clean and very comfortable, the AC was a life saver, we had our room cleaned every day which was great, the pool is bigger that what it looks on the photos, very clean and nice, the facilities were spot on and the host made us feel like home, the location is great too, near banks, supermarkets and local food restaurants, we will definitely come back 😊"

"Fantastic guesthouse with the best staff (Cecilia & Jorge) & the owner Cindy. The courtyard & lobby reminded me of a Parisian sidewalk bistro. Was grateful for the refreshing pool for a dip on those hot days. I relaxed & dozed off in the hammock one day. Excellent neighborhood close to town. (7 min walk) Will arrange bicycles, scooter, car rentals & even laundry service. Loved the well stocked kitchen & fridge space. Try Juniors Pizza just down the street."
