"Everything!!!.Location is very calm and you can easily find it.Apparments are very clean and beautifull with nice terace with lovely view to hidden garden.Our hosts Jay and Henry are very kind and nice.We got great and yummy breakfast prepared by them and we really enjoy talking with them.If you are traveling nearby take your time and stay at least one night because you will remeber it after you return home.thank you!!!!!"

"We had a lovely two night stay at Jay’s Guesthouse as part of our two week holiday in Mauritius. The apartments are really comfortable and Jay goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need (even lending us an ice pack for a sprained ankle after an accident while out walking). The guesthouse is only a short drive from a beautiful beach and there was a good restaurant within easy walking distance. A tasty breakfast was included which we enjoyed in the beautiful garden while chatting to Jay and Henri. Thank you for a great stay and your wonderful hospitality"

"I loved Jay's place. The balcony was beautiful with many fruit trees around, a beautiful garden below, and so many birds singing, colourful geckos came to visit and scuttled around in the trees. The apartment is lovely, has everything you need, and it has a good air con so you can sleep at night. There's a rooftop where you can watch the sunset, or sunrise. Jay is such a helpful and friendly host and can advise on everything you could think of - where to run, snorkel, swim, walk, eat. I will be back next time I'm in Mauritius!"

Breakfast is a highlight, featuring fresh local fruit, sometimes straight from his own garden, along with delicious homemade jams, butter, and a perfectly cooked omelette. The balcony overlooks a beautifully maintained garden, lovingly cared for by Jaz, who is more than happy to share his deep knowledge of every plant. It’s a true botanical oasis that adds to the charm of the stay. We highly recommend it!"

"Perfect place to stay, we stayed for 7 nights. The room was excellent, with a balcony overlooking the villa's garden, kitchen with fridge/freezer and cooking facilities, good A/C and a very comfy bed. Floor and a roof-terrace for guests. Within walking distance of various shops and restaurants and every morning fresh baguette from the bakery and not to forget the bus stop around the corner. Jay and Henri are good hosts and also give tips on what you can do in the area. We really enjoyed Shanti Nivas. Highly recommend if you're in the area! Jay and Henry THANKS."
