"We had a bad experience with the manager/waiter during breakfast on the last day. He seemed very irritated. Maybe personal reasons I don't know. We need vegetarian diets and he wasn't willing to communicate to the chef and even started ignoring us. The manager on the first two days was very good and listened to us and communicated well to the chef. Only the last day was disappointing."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Half board was very good, it included afternoon tee and three courses dinner (excellent!). Dietary needs were fullfilled in a professinal way. Bus stop was next to the hotel, good connection to Grand Baie."

"Large, clean room with a beautiful sea view. Air-conditioning worked well and the bed was large and comfy, also the shower was strong and warm. The hotel was quiet at night. The roof terrace was excellent with a wonderful view- we had a nice breakfast (with fresh cooked eggs), used the pool , had a complementary tea with a couple of snacks at 4pm and then, on one night, a very generous Manager's reception happy hour with free fizz and snacks (probably done once per week?) Staff and management were very helpful and willing to please. There is a pretty, low-key beach a few minutes walk away, not too busy when we were there. There are several restaurants quite close by or you can eat on the roof terrace. We liked the crepes at Mam Gouz."

"The rooftop pool is just great. Same with views fröm the rooftop restaurant and the seaview rooms. Staff really tries their best. Good breakfast. Room is very high standard."

"Not worth the price. The dinner that was included was of varying quality. It is a bit like a construction site in many places, just not finalized properly, for example top floor toilet area and when taking the stairs from the pool. Our keycard holder was torn off and a bad key lock installed instead."
