"I had a truly wonderful experience at Lagoon View Residence. The view is absolutely stunning — waking up every morning to that peaceful lagoon and the sound of nature was simply magical. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The local neighbors were incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything, from directions to tips about the area. The host was amazing — always available, responding quickly to any message, and providing us with all the information we needed. The communication was smooth, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic Mauritius experience with breathtaking views and warm hospitality!"

"This is a beautiful Penthouse apartment with a large balcony and the most amazing view. It is well located for shopping in Grand Baie (regular bus service that runs along the main road) and close to all the beaches. Eden beach is only 6 mins walk away. The bedroom sizes are good and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen is well kitted out for self catering with a microwave, fridge and there is a bbq on the balcony. It was handy to have use of the washing machine too."

"Hand rail for the stairs would make it safer. Water inlet pipe for the washing machine in the unit came off when water was turned on and was not fixed during our stay we had to use the downstairs machine. A couple of new quilts for the bed are needed. Another cupboard the same as the present one in the bedroom would make the stay more comfortable for a couple."

"Awesome views and centrally located. Close to restaurants and beaches. Host responded to queries promptly and provided very useful information on activities in the area. The place is spacious and very clean."

"Location was beautiful and just perfect for us. Plenty of space available within the room. Shower nice and hot after scuba diving in the afternoons. Photos on the website were accurate to what we received."

"They have done the best with the area they have, but we were aware about narrow driveway so it was ok. Just be aware it’s very narrow and a tiny three point turn can be made through the gates if you have small car otherwise you need to back up the lane way. Tight fit. We found the parking down the road was adequate and off the road. We had a small issue with the TV aerial not working, but a new dish was promptly put on roof and we had signal again. Problem was Attended to promptly. Shower had Luke warm water in the mornings only."

"The parking was a little away from the apartment, so carting beach things to and from was a little challenging. A light bed duvet or bed cover would have been ideal as sometimes in the middle of the night the aircon would get too cold. A few basics would have been appreciated, like salt, pepper, a little oil perhaps, otherwise been great."
