"We stayed at this guesthouse for four nights. Its very centrally located about an 8 to 10minute walk uphill from the center bus stop. Once you reach the top, you’re rewarded with a beautiful view of the sea. There are even two pools, and the view from the pool area is stunning as well. The view during breakfast was also lovely. The couple who run the guesthouse, along with the staff, are all very friendly and helpful. If you're staying in Xlendi, I can definitely recommend staying here. The value for money is excellent."

"Not having a gate on our balcony in front of the pool, there were bars but they didn’t open, it meant I had to climb back over after going for a swim and only because I don’t like sun loungers, if I couldn’t do that I would’ve had to walk dripping water through the hotel to get back to my room! But the wall was fine :)"

"The owners were lovely and I found it very comforting that they were taking care of their guests personally – nowadays you get many agency doing it, which is so dehumanising. During breakfast, I realised that many travellers were usual clients coming back every year. This tells a lot."

"My room was on the ground floor facing the street. I couldn't leave the curtains much open because everyone could see inside and it didn't feel safe to leave the window open during the night. In the room there was everything one needs, don't get me wrong, but I missed a full-body mirror (though in the corridor) and a bit of space on the sink or next to it where to put my beauty case (I used the window and that was fine)."
