"The location of the apartment is so convenient for sightseeing, it takes you literally 5 minutes to get to the main street of Valletta. It was very clean and cozy. Abigail (the host) was super helpful, gave us all the useful information, including restaurant recommendations and what to see and do in Valletta / Malta. She even provided fresh drinkable water and some snacks for breakfast. Since we flew in very early and had a late flight back home, an early check in and late check out were a blessing. Overall an amazing experience!!"

"There are so many positives about the Capital Hideaway. Firstly, our host, Abigail, is exceptionally helpful and responsive to any queries or requirements. There was a little welcome pack on arrival which was a lovely touch, and Abigail sorted our airport transfers both ways, and gave us some great recommendations for a pool day (The Phoenecia Hotel was fabulous). The property is in a fantastic location, just a three-minute walk from the Centre of Valletta and the ferry port, yet tucked away on a quiet street with no noise or disturbances. The apartment itself is spotless, finished to a high standard, and very comfortable. It’s ideal for a couple or a young family (the pull-out bed in the living space would be fine for a child or an occasional extra guest)."

"There are a few areas that could be improved: the extractor fans, particularly in the bathroom, are noisy; there’s nowhere to hang towels (we ended up draping ours over the bath in the bedroom), and while it’s not a basement apartment, the lack of natural light gives it that feel (you have to take steps down to it so likely to be tricky for anyone with accessibility needs). A couple of minor points, it has a washing machine (we didn't need to use it), but nevertheless, there is no obvious way to dry clothes, and the hairdryer is temperamental, so best to bring your own. None of these points spoiled our stay as overall, it’s a lovely apartment in a prime location, a fantastic host, and an excellent choice for a short stay in Valletta."
