"Very very comfortable place. Great people. Clean room, good bed, super fast wifi, beautiful view. Probably my best stay in Madagascar. And very cheap for what you get. Thank you for all the help Dominic and the girlfriend 🥰"

"Dominic is really phenomenal as the rest of the team. He was a huge help arranging transfers and excursions. The location is beautiful and just a short walk from Ampang or other restaurants along the shore. Hot water is available in the communal shower. There are lots of lemurs that pop by throughout the day."

"Not much to dislike, apart from the fact that high tide cuts you off from the village to a degree and that there are a few stairs to climb to get to Villa King Komba but neither is really an issue"

"Location was perfect. Over looking the water. Just a short walk to the local village . The pool was just lovely. Having the option of a simple breakfast at a good price and also the staff are more than happy to also cook a lunch or dinner if you don’t want to go into the village for a meal. The staff were ready to help and just lovely people. The manager meet us at the boat from the main island and made sure we had everything we needed. My son and I would come back and would recommend this place 100% as a quiet retreat."

"I loved everything about Villa King Komba on this paradise-like island: The spacious, airy, elevated house with its wonderful attention to details, the large, comfortable and well-furnished room, clean crisp sheets on a great bed, and a breathtaking view of forest, sea and islands beyond. Being nestled within the wilderness, lemurs leaping at close proximity... and in minutes swimming in the warm, gentle sea. A traditional village the distance of a short walk and a reminder of how rich and good life simply is. Everybody working at Villa Komba had offered an exceptional service. The assistance, care and dedication and the level of support was generous, touching and truly special. It was a little daunting to head into this foreign terrain on my own, but the guidance and reliability turned everything into an amazing adventure. Thank you all!"

"It is a beautiful hostel-like villa on the forest's doorstep, a quiet and peaceful sanctuary. It was just what we needed. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We watched families of lemurs jumping through the trees right outside the bathroom and bedroom windows at dusk and dawn, a one-of-a-kind experience. Fresh, warm baguettes are provided for breakfast every morning, the best baguettes I've had! The premise was beautiful and very clean, and we loved enjoying breakfast and relaxing on the couches on the huge balconies looking out at the incredible view of the ocean. A perfect place to stay for couples, singles and also large groups. The bookings are deliberately kept to a minimum so all guests can enjoy the villa's peaceful charm."

"No hot water on the premises, although the staff will boil water and bring it to your room for your shower. The bed creaked and wasn't the most comfortable. But I wouldn't trade our time at the Villa for these things, it was a little paradise."

"Excellent experience at villa king Komba. Stephen and Dominique were the most attentive and pleasant hosts I could have ever hoped for. Very knowledge and interesting guys. The location was perfect steps away from quiet Beach and coral reefs but close to village with everything needed. Personalised trips and collections available, unbelievable house with lemurs visible from our bedroom and better kitchen than my own home! Lovely outdoor balcony and pool area, great wifi. Cleaned everyday with very friendly staff. Will definitely be back and keep in touch, feels like home!"

"The visiting lemurs were obviously a highlight of the location. They'd jump through the trees outside my window and visit the patio area often. For the most part, I was pretty comfortable. It's a simple accommodation, but well maintained and clean. It's surrounded by nature. The only noisy neighbors are lemurs. Power was dependable - just a few short outages. The solar seems to be in good working order and internet was good except during storms (to be expected). The mosquito net on the bed was excellent (which turned out to be important). The fan over the bed kept me fairly cool, even inside my net. I think it's better value than many of the accommodations on Nosy Be. The beach is nice. I found a few spots to the south to snorkel from the beach (not spectacular, but lots of turtles). At night, there were fireflies about. :D"

"The only downside is location. I was expecting it to be a bonus (more nature, out of the city), but it's pretty isolated. The boat taxis can take hours to fill up and it's a slow ride to and from the island. King Komba is up the hill, away from the beach, which is lovely, but there wasn't much of a breeze. The entire island is pretty expensive and you WILL need cash. I was prepared for insects, but had an especially hard time with the mosquitoes for some reason (not the fault of the property). I spent an unfortunate amount of time reading in bed, protected by the net, because repellant wasn't cutting it. I even had trouble in the pool, it just meant all of the bites were on my face..."
