Tinfou desert camp

"The tents are very well made, very luxurious feel even thouzgh you are in midle of nowhere. You dont need 4x4 to drive here from the main road. Very close to the Dinfou dune. Very pleasent personell, which provided camel ride, very nice dinner with music culture and free snowboard rental to ride from dune, ATV is also an option if you want to."

"Hot water was struggling, but it was very bad weather, so I guess the heating is an issue then, but no biggie."

"This is a luxury camp at the edge of the desert. You stay in tents equipped, as far as possible, like a hotel room. Tents are surrounded by wonderful sand dunes, it is like something out of fairy tales. Staff are extremely kind and helpful, food is great. There is live local music at the fire in the evenings. Do not miss the jeep tour to the desert."

"Nothing. Just keep in mind that you are in the desert, in tents: there is sand everywhere, and the temperature is hot if it is hot outside and cold if it is cold outside, so prepare accordingly."

"Tarik and his team took very good care of us. We had there an opportunity to see how local people live and work. The camp had everything we needed, especially own bathroom in the tent. Location is very good (you don't need 4x4) if you don't want to go deeper in to the desert, there are several nice dunes all around. Next day we took a 4x4 tour to Erg desert to see big Sahara dunes and spent one night in another Tarik's camp (quite basic but comfortable)."

"We were hosted by one of the warmest group of people. Tarik and his team were really friendly and very generous. They looked after us with so much care. Special thanks to Yassein, the chef. He's one of the sweetest and most caring chefs with incredible cooking skills. He elevated our stay experience by several notches. They have all raised the benchmark for hosting to a level never known before. The camp itself is really clean, cosy and comfortable. You can blindly book yourself in and have one of the best experiences of your life."
