"The owner and his wife are a great couple, very kind and welcoming from the start. He personally showed us around the property, handed us a map with his recommendations for things to visit in Essaouira. They prepared our breakfast each morning and even did our laundry when we asked. The Riad itself is lovely, nice central courtyard to hang out in, plus a rooftop. The rooms were big, honestly some of the biggest we had in Morocco. Location is great too, close to everything. Would absolutely recommend this Riad to anyone visiting Essaouira."

"Everything! The hosts are amazing and welcoming, helping with anything you need. The Riad is in a perfect location near everything and nice to walk to at night. The breakfast is amazing and it had an adjoining restaurant that serves great food too. We have been in Morocco 11 nights and our time in this Riad was our favourite!"

"Excellent location and value for money. Fabulous hosts! Couldn’t have been more helpful. Great recommendations for places to eat. Loved having a terrace in the sun. We were very grateful for arranging transport to and from the airport. We hadn’t realised that the taxi would stop outside the medina. Our luggage was then put in a cart and wheeled to the riad! A short walk; about 10 minutes."

"The owners are very friendly! The room is really nice, especially the bed is so comfortable. I felt a bit sick on the day of the check-out so they let me stay longer in the room for free, brought the breakfast to the room and gave me something for stomac, very sweet!"

"I highly reccommend this stay in Tafraoute as it is located in a very peaceful neighbourhood, it has amazing views from the rooftop terrace (do go there for a sunset) and rooms are so extremely amazing, spacious and clean. The real surprise was dinner, we have had the best tajine ever in Morocco and ladies working there and managing the homestay were so kind and hospitable. Also, do try their lentil soup, it is absolutely the best. When I will be back in Tafraoute I already know I will stay with them. Thank you so much."

"This is not a place for those seeking a luxurious retreat, but rather for those who want a genuinely rustic and peaceful experience. The owners, Aram and Sana, were wonderful, as were the staff, Jamal and Lahcen. Be sure to let Jamal guide you in the mountains if you enjoy exploring. I preferred eating home-cooked meals at the guesthouse rather than dining at the busy, colorful restaurants by the river in Setti Fatma. A lush garden lies right in front of the house, and there is plenty of space for parking. Very good value for money."
