Dar karam is located just a 2-minute walk from Essaouira City Centre. It features a communal sun terrace, while La Skala de la Casbah Essaouira is within a distance of 500 metres. All apartments, studios and rooms are simply decorated and include a private bathroom with a shower. Some units open to a private terrace and some offer a seating area and a kitchen. Meals can be prepared upon request. The port of Essaouira is approximately 1 km away and Essaouira Mogador Airport lies 17 km from Dar karam. An airport shuttle can be provided and charges are applicable.

"It is a little bit hard to find the right door. Google maps show address around the corner and the number on the door is not really recognizable. Ask locals if you struggle to find it."
"Colourful, clean and cosy apartment conveniently located within the Medina. It's a bit dated but that’s what adds to its charm. Mr Karam the owner is such a lovely and kind man! He lives on the first floor. We bumped in to him a few times while walking around and he was always so kind and helpful. As we were taking an evening bus back to Marrakech, the property kept our bags for us while we went out exploring after checking out. Overall, a great place to stay for anyone looking to experience the real charm of the Medina with a lovely host!"
"It’s a little tricky to find as the entrance is just a blue door with the initials DK 29 and no check-in instructions are provided before hand. No bath soap or shower gel provided so you have to bring your own or buy from the shops in the Medina."

"L'habitació era molt confortable, neta i amb encant. El propietari molt atent, i l'edifici molt autèntic. El menjar molt correcte. La ubicació per nosaltres va ser molt bona pq buscàvem un allotjament al costat del Palmeral en un poblet petit. És l'únic allotjament en un poblet de 300hab. Si vols et fan una visita guiada pel Palmeral, amb un cost adicional."
