Located only 300 metres from the main square, Naughty Squirrel Backpackers Hostel is set in the heart of the Old Town of Riga. This Australian-owned hostel offers free Wi-Fi access and daily tours to AK Shooting and Winter Bobsled with the Latvian Olympic Team. Apart from cozy and simply furnished rooms, guests have an access to lockers and locks, bed linens and towels, local city maps, tea/ coffee and luggage storage. All rooms and entrance doors at the Naughty Squirrel have smart card key locks for your exclusive access, and CCTV provides additional security. All dormitory beds include free use of an under-bed locker for your backpack. The on-site 24h bar offers happy hours with discounts and guests can join activities like Beer Pong, Food Nights, Trivia Nights, Movie Nights and much more. The hostel has a large common room for meeting fellow travellers and sharing experiences from the road. A large plasma TV and a huge DVD library will also keep you entertained. "A really fun and social hostel. Events every night, shooting tours every day except Sunday. Even in low season, January, it was really fun and plenty of people staying there."

"Noises were really loud from the bar downstairs. Also you could hear all the confersations ppl had in the common area of the sleeping floor. They give you earplugs but still annoying."

"Great hostel to meet great people and to enjoy a short stay in Riga. The location was basically perfect since you are in a walking distance from the centre or train / bu station, that would get you wherever you want. The hostel itself was well organized with plenty of activities to do with other people (daily pub crawls, movie nights etc.) They also offer reasonably priced latvian beer. All in all great hostel even for people who seek for the quiet time rather than to meet others."
