"It was great to see that, even though the house was located in the middle of a lake, all necessary comforts were available. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of wine, which made it clear that we were truly welcome. Our requests were also kindly accommodated – we asked to check in earlier, and that was made possible for us as well."

"This is a unique experience. How could anyone give this accommodation less than 10 points? It is the perfect toy for big kids. Anyone who is not afraid to lend a hand - after all, you have to row there yourself or light the stove for the sauna or hot tub, for example - will have a lot of fun here."

"Beautiful and unique place! A private house on a private Lake. The house was well equiped. Communication with the owners was perfect. We were staying here for one night with our 3 years old son. It was a safe place for him and he also loved it. We wished we had booked this place for more nights. We will certainly come back!"

"An incredible experience. Private house in the middle of a private lake. Equipped with everything that might be required or even might not. Drinking water. Comfortable beds. Fireplace. A lot of storage places. Not much insects. Me and my family celebrated Ligo. Wanted privacy and silence in this loud day. And we totally got it!"
"On sunny days bedrooms are very hot. Not much free sockets to charge mobile devices. Only one sink in the house (in the kitchen), not very comfortable to brush teeth, etc."

"This is easily in the top 10 places we’ve ever stayed. Unbelievably cozy, remote, heavenly oasis in nature. So perfectly appointed, many thoughtful touches and everything you’d need for a rejuvenating getaway. We enjoyed the hot tub, a fire outside and the SUP boards. We left wishing we’d booked more days!! I cannot say how much we needed this moment of calm after some chaotic travel days. Thank you for the thoughtful bottle of wine!!"

"Very cute camping. Quiet neighborhood. There is a kids' playground pretty much next to the place, so with kids definitely a plus."
"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"
