"Gayan & Duli són una família realment encantadora! Molt amables i atents. La unicació és perfecte, en un lloc tranquil a prop del centre i amb unes vistes espectaculars. L’habitació és gran i neta. I hem provat el millor esmorzar de tot Sri Lanka i també el millor sopar. I tornarem!! Gràcies per tot família!!!"

"One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka! The location is amazing, just a 10 minute walk into Ella but away from the noise and with incredible views. Breakfast was delicious, room was huge and clean and the terrace is lovely to sit out on. We left at 5am for a safari and the hosts insisted on making us a packed breakfast, they were waiting for us with it when we got up - the kindest people!"

The location was nice for us, as it was a bit out of town, but easy to walk in. Very easy to get to the main Ella attractions. Would highly recommend."

"The Welcome Inn is situated in the most beautiful location with gorgeous views of the mountains, including Little Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock! The host family was amazing - The kindest people you could meet. The food was delicious. We had breakfasts as well as dinner one evening, and it was all so good and plentiful. Town is a short 10 minute walk, but it’s also very easy to book a tuk tuk. I 100% recommend this little jewel."

"We had an exceptional stay here in Ella. The location is perfect, very close to the main area but still quiet and surrounded by nature. The room was comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast was excellent every morning. What really makes this place special is the warmth and kindness of the owners who live there. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful during our stay. Another highlight was the possibility to have dinner at the property — the local dinners they prepare are absolutely spectacular. Highly recommended if you stay in Ella."

"We loved the location and views from the terrace, it’s only a 15 minute wall to the centre of Ella. Gyan and Duli were very attentive and arranged trips and onward taxi. The breakfast was probably the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka and the rooms are clean and comfortable"

"The view from the terrace is stunning, the room has no aircon but has a fan and in the evening the temperature was fine. Duli was super helpful and nice. Breakfast is really good. The house is only a few minutes away from the Main Street in Ella"
"Was not easy to understand how to get there the first time. The door of the room was not so stable but it looks like someone from the house is always around so overall it feels safe"
"Room was very clean and the hospitality from Gayan and his family was astounding. To top it off they cooked the best breakfast for our stay in Srilanka! Welcom Inn is a hidden gem, just keep an eye out for the monkeys that greet you in the morning 😉"
