"Excellent location, very easy access to all points of interest in Colombo. Sea front and Dutch Old Hospital walking distance. Staff at the hotel , very helpful, polite and welcoming. Shamila, the receptionist was very helpful when asked for advice about local services etc. The bar is first class with lots of activities in the evening, quiz night, singer, which were very good."

"If you like to stay in a historic,.old, vintage ...locked away in time kind of a place....this is it! SUPERB LOCATION is a bonus....do take the premium room as the deluxe dont have any windows...some of the furniture is approx 175 + years old.....simple/basic...but clean...enjoy..."

"The staff were amazing. All the way through my stay, they were polite and professional. However, on the last morning they excelled themselves. I went for a run and fell grazing my face resulting in some dramatic (lots of blood) but not too serious injuries. The level of help and concern they showed was exemplary and obviously very genuine."
