"I liked the view of the jungle from my balcony where I identified 25 different bird species incl. 6 endemic plus Giant grizzled squirrels. Be careful of the Toque Macaques who may walk right along balcony wall when you sit there! Good breakfasts, nice couple running the guest house."

"You can do the laundry there. The woman sold me some ticket for the kandyan dancing and was a great experience. She also recommended me a place for dinner that was great (clay pot)!! The room has a kitchen outside and common room for eating. The breakfast was very good. The place is close to the lake and the temple tooth. I would recommend this place in Kandy."

"The place was part of a local house and Anula, the mother, manages the place. Seeing day to day life of the local family, especially their little children was very beautiful. I loved the monkeys coming to the balcony although never let them in the house."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."
