"In terms of location, the place is located close to Maradana railway station and also the Premadasa stadium is just 20-25 minutes walk away. Also lots of transport options, bus, train, tuk-tuk (rickshaw), uber etc are available. The area is also not far from the heart of Colombo."

"Not much of veg options within the hotel. For breakfast there was only toast and fruits (The restaurant staff especially Harishchandra was very helpful). Basic vegetarian options were available for lunch and dinner. It is a typical autoparts hub with shops all around dealing in spare parts so not many good restaurants close-by. Mid-range vegetarian restaurants (Indian style) are available close by (easily reachable by foot or by bus, tuk-tuk)"

"The gentleman on reception (and probably the other staff but I only met him) is the reason this place receives the good reviews. He was so helpful and kind and he did everything he could to make me comfortable when I arrived late at night alone after a long distance journey.. I can't thank him enough. He is truly a good man."

"However the hotel does need a big makeover. Bed linen, bathroom and floors were clean. However the old furniture needs to be freshened up - new curtains, lick of paint etc etc. Very tatty and a wee bit overpriced but as mentioned above the kindness of the people makes up for the grubbiness."

The location is excellent—right in the center, with all major places nearby. The breakfast was delicious and well prepared. The staff were very helpful, especially Harish Chandra. He is multilingual and speaks Sinhala, Tamil, Hindi, and Arabic, which was a big plus for guests from different backgrounds"
