"Pinthaliya Resort in Habarana was fantastic super relaxing after Sigiriya sightseeing. The suite was spacious and comfy with great AC; breakfast and dinner featured tasty Sri Lankan and Western options. The clean pool amid greenery was perfect for cooling off, and staff were friendly and helpful."

"While our overall experience was enjoyable, there were a few aspects that could be improved. Firstly, the buffet didn’t quite meet our expectations. The food quality was somewhat underwhelming—though perhaps it just didn’t align with my taste. Additionally, the variety of dishes was rather limited, which left us wishing for more options. However, considering the price we paid, it was still a reasonable offering. Although the rooms were spacious and comfortable, having a balcony would have been a great addition to enhance the experience further. It would have provided a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We did appreciate the hotel's effort to maintain a natural, forest-like ambience, which added a unique charm to the stay. However, a bit more tidiness and organization such as trimming some trees and refining the landscape could strike a better balance between preserving nature and offering a well-maintained environment for guests. Overall, while these aspects didn’t diminish our positive experience, a few improvements could make the stay even better."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

"Everything was exceptional - the staff, the property, the location, the food, the animal visitors. The food was the best we experienced in Sri Lanka by far and having the ability to visit the bigger sister hotel whenever we needed a change of scenery was perfect.
