"Me and my family stayed in the first floor apartment for 6 nights. The apartment was good. It had comfortable beds, a good AC, a nice kitchen and a big balcony with a sea view. The breakfast is served in the beach café and was delicious. The location is perfect. The beach by the hotel is small and calm, protected by a reef, making it good for swimming and snorkeling. There are sunbeds available. Then there is a larger beach next by, that you can reach in just a few minutes walk, where the waves are high and good for surfing. There are plenty of restaurants on the beach, but it is also easy to take a tuk tuk to the city, takes about 5-10 minutes. Hilda, Tutu and the rest of the staff where amazingly kind and helpful, and made our stay here unforgettable."

"Very friendly family who helped us carry the luggage upon arrival. The chef prepared us a very good meal that we ate at the beautiful beach. Sri Lankan breakfast on the same beach was very tasty."

"Ask for the top appartment as the view on the first floor is limited. The family was very kind to let us park our tuktuk in their closeby new small resort seeing that direct access to the beach is not possible."

It’s easy to use PickMe or Uber apps to get cars to pick you up for trips into town (Beruwala, Aluthgama for crafts shopping, 1.25 hours from Colombo) just put Pahalage Guesthouse for pick up location which is right next door. "The place a very quiet here. Some Restaurants around. Supermarket some steps a way. The beach phantastic and you can free walk alot . The host Hilda is very very nice lovely person. You feel like a family staying. Every morning she makes me different kind of breakfast. Best coffee ever. Always she tried to make me an comfortable staying. The Family so lovely. I like them all. The flat are very big good for family's or groups. The family always help me if I need something or answer my question. Totally recommended this place. Sure I'm coming back to here. Thanku for all Hilda. Other recommendations is DE Silva very nice guy with an very good englisch. He drive me from colombo to beruwala and also possible to make with him some tours."

"Some Advice to the Owner. Would be nice to have an safe box in the room or at least in the building to store and safe your importend paper. Would be nice to found a TV in the place even is it in the lobby to watch some times the news."

"Wir haben inzwischen in den letzten Jahren fast alle Strand-Quartiere am Moragalla Beach probiert. Die Wohnung bei Hilda hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Hier hatten wir alles, was für einen schönen Langzeit-Urlaub notwendig ist. Dazu kam eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Shishas Vishara hat uns unseren Urlaub durch hervorragenden Service noch schöner gemacht. Wir möchten uns nochmal bei allen bedanken."

"Duży apartament z widokiem na morze, czysty. Obiektem zarządza Hilda ze swoim mężem, są bardzo pomocni ❤️ Pomogli nam w każdej sytuacji. Zaproponowali nam wycieczkę na paradę w mieście Beruwala, wysłali z nami swojego wspaniałego pracownika, żeby nas zawiózł, oprowadził ale i o nas zadbał. Co ważne - to nie była usługa a przysługa i gościnność za którą nie wzięli pieniędzy ❤️ restauracja obok "Angelika"należy do rodziny Hildy- jedzenie było świetne. Śniadania na plaży robią wrażenie. Wszystkie mankamenty rekompensuje podejście, życzliwość i gościnność Hildy i jej rodziny. Basen jest w sąsiednim hotelu ( ok 100m) w pięknym ogrodzie."

"Sehr freundliche und herzliche Inhaberin Hilda sowie ihr Team. Wir haben uns wegen der kinderfreundlichen Atmosphäre schnell wohl gefühlt. Das Appartement ist sehr groß, komplett sauber jedoch einfach und eher schlicht eingerichtet. Das sehr große Bett war ideal, um als Familie gemeinsam zu schlafen. Der Strand wird überwiegend von Einheimischen genutzt, was eine entspannte und authentische Urlaubsstimmung vermittelt. Zu Silvester gab es ein Buffet im Familien geführten Nebenhotel, wo sich auch ein schöner Pool in einem gepflegten Garten befindet, der mitbenutzt werden kann. . Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Nebenan betreibt ein Familienmitglied ein Restaurant mit gutem Essen, bei dem man etwas Wartezeit einplanen sollte. Liegen werden zur Verfügung gestellt."

"In der Dusche war der Wasserdruck sehr gering und es gab nur wenig bzw. kaum warmes Wasser. Zudem sind die Lichtschalter nicht logisch angeordnet, was die Bedienung unnötig erschwert."
