"Perfect family getaway at Padmi Villa! We travelled to Weligama, Sri Lanka with our teenager in February 2025 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The second floor was exclusively for our family, and the space was perfect. The location is fantastic, and the host family were invaluable in helping us discover the best local spots. They were incredibly responsive and always willing to help with any questions. The villa is well-equipped, and the kitchen made it easy to prepare our own meals. We were even treated to delicious traditional food on our last day! We highly recommend Padmi Villa to families looking for a comfortable and authentic stay"

"A bit far out of town, but otherwise decent. Upgraded us for free as our booked room wasn't available. No drinking/smoking as there is an addiction center on the top floor."

"Rio Homestay was a welcoming, convenient, safe place to stay while on the Pekoe Trail. Our host was very welcoming and greeted us with a cuppa tea which we appreciated.
