"Ich wurde total herzlich von einem älteren Ehepaar dort empfangen. Sie waren sehr zuvorkommend und Hilfsbereit. Das Essen dort war traditionell und sehr lecker. Die Erfahrung in einem etwas abgelegen Ort zu übernachten fand ich sehr gut."

"Ich habe zwar kein W-lan benötigt, trotzdem gab es dort keines, obwohl es in den Ausstattungsmerkmalen aufgeführt ist."

"Un lloc excepcional a Mirissa on allotjar-se amb vistes al port. La propietària sempre súper simpàtica i amable, teniem reservada una excursió per veure balenes i ens va fer un esmorzar per emportar a les 5:50am. L'esmorzar a l'allotjament era deliciós i abundant. Habitació amb aire condicionat que refredava ràpidament."

"I stayed at Sole & Luna during a management transition and I can already see a big positive change. The restaurant has recently reopened and they can prepare almost anything on request, including real Italian food, just ask in advance. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, which is not so common in Sri Lanka. The hotel also has a beautiful terrace, perfect for relaxing or doing yoga. The location is excellent, just 40 seconds walk from the beach. The staff was extremely helpful and gave great recommendations about places to visit nearby. Overall, the atmosphere is peaceful and authentic. I also loved the small details like the parrots and the ducks around the property."

"Kamal and the staff were very accommodating and helpful and the chef prepared an incredible rice and curry buffet, served in traditional woven plates, clay pots and banana leaves and all my favourite dishes - gottukola sambol from the hotel garden itself, mango curry, bean curry, chicken curry, carrot papadam ...probably one of the best rice and curry lunch buffet I have had and I lived in Sri Lanka for 5 years. I even mentioned that I would have liked to eat banana flower curry (kehel muwa) and the chef overheard and made it for us in the evening as a surprise! The hotel even kindly organised some paper printouts for us, allowed friends and family to join us in the pool for our last day in Sri Lanka before relocating overseas and made our last day very special and memorable. This will definitely be our go to place once we return for our holidays."
