"Дом очень понравился, красивый вид на горы и чайные плантации, находится в удалении от Эллы, что для нас было большим плюсом, любим отдыхать уединенно, чтоб нам ни кто не мешал, и мы соответственно то же. До города 5 минут на транспорте, его желательно иметь, парковка рядом с домом. Удобная терраса, на ней завтракали, вечером просто отдыхали с напитками, и не большая кухня, согреть чай, разогреть еду. Завтрак вкусный, хозяин подает его в заранее оговоренное, удобное для вас время. Просторная, чистая комната, все необходимое есть. Душ с горячей водой (нужно просто чуть-чуть подождать пока пробежит холодная). Все понравилось, спасибо!"

"- Richtig schön auf dem Gipfel eines Hügels mit Blick auf Little Adam's Peak und Ella Rock gelegen. Komplett unverbauter Blick in einer kleinen Teeplantage. - Veranda zum Entspannen - Super ruhige Umgebung. Perfekt um dem Touri-Trubel in Ella zu entkommen. - Sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber (wohnt im Haus etwas den Hügel herunter) - Großes Zimmer, großes Bett, große Dusche - Leckeres, abwechslungsreiches Frühstück auf der Veranda. Neutrale Hinweise: - 20 Meter nebenan baut der Gastgeber ein neues Haus. Die Baustelle hat uns nicht gestört, sollte aber einmal erwähnt werden. - Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb von Ella. Es ist ratsam, sich sofort einen Scooter zu leihen - das ist deutlich billiger als alles mit dem Tuktuk zu erledigen. Die Tuktukfahrer in Ella sind teilweise unverschämt gierig."

"- Es wurde während unseres 4-tägigen Aufenthalts nicht das Zimmer gereinigt (Müll, Bett, Handtücher).. Das scheint in Sri Lanka zwar irgendwie üblich zu sein, ist trotzdem nicht schön. - Der Gastgeber hat uns zwei Transportmöglichkeiten vermittelt (Tuktuk in die Umgebung und Taxi nach Mirissa). Beide waren zu teuer. Transporte lieber über Andere organisieren."

"We stayed at this beautiful place for 3 nights and it was amazing. The location is not too far from the city center, yet it is really calm and you can enjoy hearing and seeing some animals. Shan is an exceptional host. He is very welcoming and will be happy to assist you with everything you need. He even picked us up and drove us back to the accommodation multiple times (for free :)) We also did a wonderful Tuktuk tour with him around Ella, which we can fully recommend! Every morning we had a delicious breakfast while enjoying the stunning view from the balcony. For us it was the best accommodation on our travel through Sri Lanka and we cannot wait to come back one day 😊"

"It really is a secret paradise in Ella! Tucked away from the main road, Ella Secret Paradise has two lovely rooms with en suites and a wonderful dining area outside, where you can look out over the jungle and listen to all the birds. We even saw porcupines one evening! Nalin, our host, was incredibly welcoming and hardworking, providing us with recommendations of things to do, organising transport, and serving delicious breakfast. He also managed to do our 6 kilos of laundry in less than 48 hours! We would all like to thank him and his family for our stay."

"A surprise to find this good looking old style property at the end of a long small track after the worst directions and almost no signage - do not follow Google. One two bed cottage much bigger and nicer than the second. Good clean pool but pool lounger cushions and bean bags dirty and cement cracked and broken around the pool. Limited menu. Dirty sofa cover. Amazing views and hard to believe all was trucked to this amazing view and location, including a glass chandelier. Natural pool dank and needs running water in the river to make it an attraction - steep path for some. New Manager, Ajith , needs help. Good Wifi. It could be wonderful with regular maintenance and proper management and menus - no toast/bread? Beware low doorways for taller guests in cottages. Needs a few steps to pool from main level rather than longer walk around. No head/rose on pool shower and one pipe in bathroom wall open and not closed? Not really good value."

""The Serandib Hill Hotel is a wonderful place to stay, conveniently situated in the heart of the city. The rooms are very clean, and the washrooms are excellent, with hot water that is perfect for the weather. I had a great stay. The property manager, Mr. Raja, was incredibly helpful; he organized my meals quickly and provided delicious Ceylon milk tea whenever I wanted. My thanks to Mr. Raja and the hotel!""
