"There was confusion about whether there was a room with twin beds so my friends had to stay in the back room where the second double bedroom could only access the bathroom through the first."

"This was easily the best place we stayed during our two-week trip, with several others to compare. From the street, you would not expect much, but once inside, it is completely different. The property is very large and feels more like a private park. There is a lot of greenery, large old trees, and a big pond with an island in the middle. The houses, designed by Geoffrey Bawa, are highlights of the place. The one we stayed at was practically an art gallery, blowing our minds away at first and impressing us the whole stay. Wildlife is part of the experience, birds and monkeys, so it really feels separated from the city outside, even though it is right there behind the walls. The staff were very attentive and handled everything (breakfast, transport, and showing the place). If needed, they were always available, literally just a bell away. Overall, a very memorable place and probably the closest to “perfect” we have experienced."

"エイドリアンゼッカさんがお気に入りのバワ作品と即答したBoutique87だったので、期待してましたが、他に宿泊者はなく、ここに一人で泊まる贅沢は最高でした スタッフの方々も宿泊者が一人だけなので、いろいろと気を使ってくれて心地よかった 敷地内を見学できるガイドツアーもあるけど、２階のショップハウスなどは泊まらないと見ることができないので、それだけでも価値はありました"

"Ein Haus, in dem Geschichte noch immer leise flüstert. Man spürt den alten Geist von Jeffrey Barbers Freund in jedem Detail – dieses Haus ist kein Ort zum bloßen Übernachten, sondern ein echtes Statement. Ein Tempel für Interior Design, mit Seele und Vergangenheit. Ein kurzer Gang über die Straße, und man steht am Strand – wunderbar unkompliziert. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: Bei später Ankunft gibt es vor Ort leider nichts mehr zu essen. Wer nicht allein reist, kann sich aber gut noch gemeinsam auf den Weg machen und etwas finden. Abgesehen davon war der Aufenthalt ein besonderes Erlebnis. Kein 08/15, sondern ein Ort, der bleibt."

"Was etwas schade war: Ich hätte gerne Fotos im Garten mit einem professionellen Fotografen gemacht. Das war jedoch nur gegen eine zusätzliche Gebühr erlaubt. Fotos mit dem eigenen Telefon waren kein Problem, aber ein externer Fotograf durfte nicht hinzugezogen werden. Das empfand ich als unnötige Einschränkung."
