"I loved the natural setting, it can be a lot of stairs depending on where your room is. The restaurant, bar and pools are great to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Soufriere and the Petit Piton. We would definitely come back to this place."

"I absolutely enjoyed every minute of my short stay at Green Fig Resort. Although I spent just one night, it was exceptional and customer service was absutely amazing."

"Location was excellent and the view was amazing. Staff were kind and welcoming. We had foolishly assumed that St. Lucia used the same plugs as Barbados (aka US) and not UK ones, but they kindly gave us an adapter. The food was tasty and freshly prepared."

"Our room was not ready when we arrived at 3 pm, and we needed to wait for almost an hour - while, the pool bar was nice, after a serpentine mountain road, we wanted to chill and have a shower. St Lucia lacks signs, and so does the hotel, we missed the hotel entrance the firs time, then it was up a very steep, at times slippery and potholed incline. Parking was also a challenge, as one needed to reverse down a fairly steepish mountain - not for the faint hearted. A valet service would be nice!"

"Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. We loved our stay at Green Fig, and loved the ease of being able to organise excursions through the hotel, especially with Kelsey's knowledgeable help. Our room had a great view of the Petit Piton, which was wonderful to wake up to each morning!"

"The stunning view, the location near the town of Soufriere, beautiful beaches, botanical gardens, drive-in volcano and mud baths."

"The stairs. We were in one of the rooms at the bottom and are not particularly fit. However, all is forgiven as the room was amazing and the view was to die for!"

"The view was absolutely stunning from every spot on the property and the staff were very friendly and professional. The food was good and the hotel offered helpful minibus transfers to a variety of locations."

"Beware of the mosquitos! We should have realised that picking a hotel on the hillside in the trees would mean more mosquitos than by the beach, but we were bitten constantly during the first night. We then asked for a mosquito net and the second night went much better. It would have been nice if the room had been treated and set up with a net when we arrived. The included breakfast was good but a bit light on options. We drove there and the path to the car park was a difficult drive. Being up on a steep hill made it difficult to walk to and from town, which was a shame because it isn't far but there is no pavement so the walk is dangerous, especially at night."
