"Nong is an exceptional host with incredible kindness. She'll help you with everything in Thakkek, from organizing your loop to renting scooters and buses for your next destination. The hostel is charming, with its dogs and a cozy cabin where you can relax and meet your future travel companions! I highly recommend it, especially with the complimentary coffee in the morning, which is a lovely touch :) I spent my birthday there, and she was incredibly kind!"

"Rooms were quite small/cramped which made packing you bag difficult"
"Dorms are comfy and clean, so are the bathroom. I like that the showers, toilettes and sink are all separate. The owner is the cutest, super helpful with late check in, gave me loads of informations for the loop. I also rented a bike from them, it was in perfect condition and I didn’t have any issues with it during the loop. Not to forget the 2 cutest dogs and their puppy’s!"

"This place is amazing. It's a shame I had to leave, otherwise I definitely would have stayed for a few days. The overall vibe and the owner are making you feel very welcome. She helps you with everything you want to to know or things you need. And because it's not too big, you easily connect with your fellow travelers. Everything is clean and available and nice restaurants nearby."

"Can store luggage for free while you do the loop. The lady running the hostel is the sweetest, she’ll help you book train/bus tickets to your next location + she has the 2 sweetest dogs."

"Loved this hostel for before and after the loop! Nong is amazing and will sort you out with literally anything you need. We also hired our bikes through her for the Thakhek loop and they were perfect, safe and new."
"I liked this, but if you don’t like dogs keep in mind there are two dogs on the property. They are lovely though!"

"Nong (the owner) is amazing, the most friendly person you will meet, extreamly helpful with anything but particularly in regards to the loop. The hostel is very clean, all of it & the showers are separate to toilets. There are great common areas, filtered water, kettle/ tea/ coffee, laundry service and you can store luggage whilst doing the loop. She also has great scooters to rent for the loop that are checked, cleaned and serviced after each loop. Oh and he did are sooooo sweet."
