"This was a unique experience staying in traditional Kazakh yurts, allowing us the laid back vibes as a modern-day nomads. The yurts are beautifully decorated with local crafts, I enjoyed the peacefulness and connection to nature that the location provides. With scenic mountain views, it's a fantastic escape for nature lovers."

"The experience overall was really good. The staff was very friendly, they also have animals on site (horses, a dog and a cat) which makes it fun. We were the only people staying in the yurt but the staff made sure we were comfortable and well catered for. It was very cold at night but they lit the stove for us and left a lot of wood for us to use throughout the night to keep the yurt warm. They also lit a bonfire for us at the camp, even though we were the only ones staying there."

"The price (100$) is a LOT for this type of stay. There are several other yurts in the areas which are unfortunately not listed on booking.com and thus hard to find, which are much cheaper. Also, they ordered dinner for us since there is no other option close by but charged us 40$ for it, which according to Kazakhstan standards, is extremely exhorbitant. So make sure you arrange for you meal beforehand (you won't spend more than 8-10$ for it). Also, in the middle of the night, we were disturbed by some strangers and when we tried to call the staff for help, they were nowhere to be found! We felt a little unsafe and left to fend for ourselves. Thankfully the strangers were just some drunk teenagers trying to have fun, and they left us alone when we asked them to. Also, the staff does not speak ANY english at all!"
