It is surrounded by charming, narrow historic alleys and traditional neighbourhoods, which are very picturesque and gave us a real sense of the city's character. The metro and main tourist sites are all within easy walking distance. The room was clean, functional, and exactly as shown in the description, providing a very comfortable base. For travellers who are looking for great value and a perfect location rather than luxury, this hotel is an excellent choice. I would happily stay here again."

"The bathroom setup might be a bit unusual for some European travellers.The shower is open and located in the same space as the toilet, without a separate stall or curtain. This means you need to be a bit careful to keep things like toilet paper from getting wet. It's a common and functional design in the area, but it's good to be prepared for it."

Right next to ikseon dong with lots of restaurants. Staff are friendly, helpful and quick to respond."

"Location: there so many restaurants around, just get to the small alleys. The subway/metro station, Jongno-gu 3 is very close. This station has lines 1, 2 and 3. Main attractions of Seoul are at a walking distance : Gyeongbokgung Palace, Nacsam wall, Cheonggyecheon, , Gwangjang Market."

"- best option for solo travellers on a budget but want their own space! Room is small but big enough to lay down a check in size luggage which is so convenient when packing. - great location near airport bus, bus stops and subway station nearby. Also basically just next to Ikseon where there are plenty of famous cafes and restaurants! - honestly thought the soundproofing of the room is great for a hostel, I don't even hear my neighbours at all from my room throughout the whole trip! Though there was one night that I could hear the chatters from outside/downstairs from the 4th floor, but it wasn't a big deal. - I personally didn't use it but I like that the hostel provides adapters & luggage weighing machine, really thoughtful!"

"- definitely room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, it was quite dusty on top of the mini fridge + aircon (I leave the aircon on and sometimes when I come back there are specks of dust on my bed/pillow as the aircon is right above the bed) - not something on the hostel but just one thing to take note of for solo travellers is that the alleyway to the hostel would be quite dark & quiet at night."
