"We loved it . We felt totally immersed into the Cambodian local community which you would not get in a swish hotel . There were chickens, geese , goats and cows all clucking away above the noise of the crickets . Good breakfast and supper especially the seafood kymer curry and we had everything we needed . Only twenty minutes from the airport . Yong made us feel very welcome and the cook/ taxi man was wonderful too ( i am sorry as i forgot his name ) . I would definitely recommend a stay here . Its not the ritz but very atmospheric and if you love animals this is the place for you!"

"The choice at breakfast was excellent and the food superb. All the staff were delightful and very helpful. The tireless manager Bissett (spelling?) was always on hand speaking great English. Once I had to call him to make sure he would open the restaurant for the evening as I was, on that night, the only guest and was concerned I would be forgotten about. I needn't have worried. Bissett and the cook appeared out of nowhere, opened the kitchen and served me a terrific dinner. The place is well away from any towns and a hundred yards off the main road so is perfectly quiet. The rooms are large, the aircon quiet and effective and the beds very comfortable. If you are in this area and want some genuine peace and quiet stay here. Very handy for Prasat Beng Mealea."

"I stayed here in December for 4 nights and genuinely didn’t want to leave. The setting is stunning. Calm, quiet, and surrounded by nature. At the heart of the lodge is a gorgeous central pagoda that doubles as the restaurant, and it’s honestly breathtaking. The food surprised me in the best way great quality and reasonably priced (around $8 a dish). The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always up for a chat and genuinely lovely, and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms are rustic but charming. I stayed in a standalone wooden bungalow – comfortable, but more on the basic side. The bathroom setup was quite rough: it felt like an outdoor outhouse, and the water just drained straight onto the wooden floor. But all in, comfortable, well equiiped and large, with a deck right over the pond."

"One watch-out: from Sunday afternoon through Monday morning, there was near-constant loud chanting or prayer from a neighbouring property. No idea if it's a regular thing. With noise-cancelling headphones I managed, but it would’ve been tough without them. I paid about $40/night on a steep discount and felt that was fair. If I’d paid full price, I probably would’ve been disappointed as the experience doesn’t quite match premium rates. All that said, if you’re looking for a genuinely beautiful, calm stay, with great food and friendly people, and you’re happy with a few rough edges, this place is a gem. Just go in with the right expectations."

"Nice Lodge Hotel near Kulen National Park, we just used as an overnight as it is nearer the Airport than within Siem Reap. Our Bungalow was great set on a pond with all you need it does have a Mosquito net which is needed remember to put it down early? Staff were lovely and helpful and cleanliness standards good. It looks like rather an Eco Tourism resort with small scale farming and some animals on site. Absolute bonus was a lovely cooling wind coming from the Mountains behind. The restaurant is good with some signature dishes. Would stay again."

"Rooms need to be made more mosquito proof, there were too many gaps in walls and doors and in the Bathroom? The net over the bed was definitely needed? Other than that a great place to stay"

"The water was interrupted and intermittent due to issues, so the showers were often interrupted multiple times. There were noises from within the walls (termites or mice) which kept us up. Other then this - all lovely"

"A countryside, rustic, remote but peaceful location with nice restaurant and relatively close to the new Siem Reap Airport. It would be nice for a retreat for a few days. Food was enjoyable. They are a relatively new operation, trying hard to please with some learning ongoing. There is nothing much nearby in terms of eating but the hotel restaurant has a reasonable choice and not overly expensive."

"Beds are very hard for western tastes. A fridge in the room would be useful. The restaurant had limited supplies of alcohol - e.g. just two bottles of white wine available - no more when our group requested."
