"The staff here were all friendly and welcoming. Sadly our flight was delayed so that we arrived in the dark, but Patricia kindly saved some hot food for us so that we could eat on arrival. Our tent was very comfortable but a little cold due to the unseasonal heavy rain. Breakfast was delicious on the balcony with good views of the site, and lots of birds to watch. We were sad that our visit was so short and look forward to a future visit which we will plan to be for at least 2 nights."

"Very special place a stones throw away from the city. The food was so delicious! Pool, table tennis and giant chess board make for a fun stay!"

"Can’t be helped but the bypass is close so vehicles can be heard. But the bird song helped cover it up!"

"My friend and I stayed there for two nights. The location is really beautiful, and quite big. The staff was nice and the room was basic, but fine for the price. The shared bathroom was clean (but expect cold showers). Breakfast was ok, but quite limited choice included in the price. The neighbourhood looked nice, but we only moved around by Uber so cannot really comment on safety."

"Wildebeest eco lodge is set in beautiful grounds only 8 kms from central Nairobi . It is quiet, peaceful and tranquil and it’s hard to believe you are so close to a major city! The pool area is fabulous to relax by and the restaurant is fabulous."

"Amazing location just outside Nairobi in preparation for a race. Lots of other runners also stayed there so we got to meet. Tented accommodation was comfy, nice pool, and food was great."

"I thought I'd booked a tent with a private bathroom but I hadn't. It didn't matter: shared bathrooms were clean, and water was hot."

"The grounds were amazing, with lovely flowers, metal animal sculptures, vegetable garden, fire pit, a nicely situated restaurant, pool room w books, etc. No indoor restaurant- which in winter was a but chilly in the evenings - but lovely views over the garden and pool. Delicious breakfast! Shop v good value w bracelets and souvenirs."
