"The space has tasteful decor. The bed is comfortable with clean and fresh bedsheets. The kitchen is well equipped for making a meal. It is walking distance from the beach so we enjoyed a morning walk with no hustle."

"We booked this room in the morning and a few hours later we had a clean room in a warm and welcoming home. Because we only stayed for one night, we didn't really get to talk with the people but it felt like all was well, very relaxed and safe. It also had a fridge."
"It seems like Watamu has gotten a little touristy and sometimes we felt uncomfortable about that. We wondered whether the people of Watamu are actually still profiting from it or whether it's becoming just a very small group of people. We also wondered what the influence on the beautiful beaches and the rest of the stunning nature is. But this has little to do with the property itself. The room at Nyumba Tulivu was good and we were very happy to stay here."

"The place is located within walking distance to the beach and many nice restaurants, including a mall with a supermarket. Our room was small and quite hot, but we had both a ceiling fan and floor fan to help reduce the heat. The pool is also nice to cool off in, and the hammock provides a nice place to read and relax. Staff were also friendly and helpful. All in all good value for the money."
