"Oshima is a place that cleanse you from the stress of Tokyo. This ancient and beautiful house is the best place to frame your time here. The house gives you the authenticity of ancient Japanese houses, without the overpricing of the ryokan and the touristy vibe of regular hotels."

"Very spacious and very comfortable beds, kitchen well equipped - including with basic ingredients for cooking. Lots of tea pots. Location superb (although hard to find at first). Very responsive host. Lovely view of Fiji san in the morning just as you walk out onto the street."

"A very cosy, traditional Japanese-style house, a stone's throw from both the beach and the centre of Oshima. Wonderfully kind and understanding hosts, who accommodated a last-minute change in travel plans - our ferry couldn't make it over from Tokyo initially due to weather conditions. Next time we are in Oshima, we will be sure to stay here again!"

"とにかく部屋の設備やインテリアが統一されていて、カフェで過ごしているような心地の良い時間を過ごすことができました。 古民家をリノベーションしているとの事で、一見古いものが多いかなと思いきや、電化製品は最新のものを取り揃えており元々自炊を予定していなかったことが悔やまれるくらい素敵なキッチンでした。 次回訪れる時は自炊をして楽しみたいと思います！ また、地味に嬉しかったのが元々用意してあるお茶の中に高級紅茶であるマルコ・ポーロがありとても美味しくて感動しました😭 細かいところに宿主さんのセンスを感じるとても暖かい宿でした。 また、大島に行く際は利用しようと思います！"

"大島は自然に囲まれているためしょうがないのですが、離れであるトイレやお風呂へ向かう際は虫が出る可能性があることを踏まえて泊まるべきだと感じました。 今回は運悪く離れに向かう外の道でGと対面してしまい驚きましたが、寒いためか動きは鈍くそこまで嫌悪感は抱きませんでした。"

"オーナーの方がアパレルデザイナーの方なので古民家を素敵に改装、おいてあるものすべてセンスが良く驚くばかりです。乾燥機付きのドラム洗濯機はとても重宝しました。"

"Wonderful place, great host can only recommend this place so much. It's a wonderful house, decorated very tastefully. Also a very helpful host, the high speed ferry couldn't depart due to the weather and they kept me updated and helped with informing me about other options to get home."

"土間の雰囲気、太い柱や梁が古民家感が満載。それとは裏腹にトースターや湯沸かしポットがバルミューダ、ダイソンの温風器など家電系は良いものがある。 ベッドの質が良い。調理器具は使い放題。"

"シンクは深いが極小が二つありちょっと使いにくい。大きいものだと良かった。 土間に暖房が欲しい。"

"事前に鍋料理をしたいと申し出たところ、カセットコンロを用意してもらえました(ガス缶は自分たちで用意しました)。一軒家なので気兼ねなくのびのびと過ごすことができました。お手洗いや浴室等も清潔で、細かいところまで気配りが感じられました。"
