"I stayed here based on a recommendation from my friend who visited the place and it was exactly as he described. It's a beautiful place with a view, and most importantly, it's clean. Our host was very friendly and generous; he treated us to dinner and breakfast, which were both delicious. Thank you! We will definitely visit again if we return."

"Immaculate large two bedroom apartment with a good kitchen and some heating (it was very cold weather at the time) and firm but comfortable beds! The host couldn't have been more helpful - taking us to the supermarket in his car, even though his pregnant wife was in hospital due to give birth the next morning! He also has very good English and very informative about Jordan and Karak. The location has free parking and a view of the castle walls and is only five minutes walk from the castle square and a few local restaurants."
"The shower was hot but a bit weak, although this is true of most places in Jordan - water is scarce and pressures low! The area around the Old House was quite scruffy - discarded building materials and so on (again not uncommon in Jordan where waste management is poor)."

"I had a great stay at Petra Voyager Hostel. The hostel is very clean, well-organized, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to give advice about visiting Petra and the surrounding areas. The rooms are comfortable, with good beds and clean bathrooms, and the common areas are perfect for relaxing or meeting other travelers. The food is very nice, fresh, and tasty, which makes the stay even better. The location is excellent very close to the Petra Visitor Center, making early morning visits easy. A big plus is the daily shuttle service to Wadi Rum, which is very convenient and well organized. Overall, it offers amazing value for money and truly feels like a home away from home. "We were welcomed like royalty! The hosts are so incredibly kind, offered us tea and water throughout our stay, and anytime we had a request they were more than accommodating. They helped us with planning our trip into Petra, gave us insider tips, and the breakfast and dinner were delicious! I highly recommend staying here. It is so cool being able to stay in the bedouin village and being so close to petra. The view was also magnificent- We could see Petra from the window! As for the room itself, everything is brand new and works well, absolutely zero complaints!"
