The Salome is a 2-star allotjament in the historical city of Madaba. This hostal offers spacious guest rooms, friendly service and free Wi-Fi, all in close proximity to the centre and the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land. The pensió’s 45 guest rooms are all neatly decorated and furnished, offering a relaxing and comfortable environment. All rooms have air conditioning and en suite facilities. The sala d'bufet continental is also open for lunch and dinner, serving a wide range of Mediterranean and international cuisine, including many special Jordanian dishes. The Salome Establiment is a 10-minute walk from the city centre and the Church of St George, where many of the famous mosaics are found. Mount Nebo is within easy reach and the historical city of Amman is a 30-minute drive away.

"Arrived around 3am, there was someone waiting for us and got us checked in incredibly fast and up to our room so we could get some sleep. Great breakfast. Easy parking right out front. Quick walk to the main sights. Would recommend."

"By far the best accommodation we encountered during our time in Jordan. Our host was most helpful with information and advice. Lovely outdoor area with a pool and sunbeds where you can relax - we only did so in the late evening and it was perfect. This was the only instance where we were provided with the type of room we had booked. For those who are interested, the hotel serves beer and wine."

"I had a great stay at Petra Voyager Hostel. The hostel is very clean, well-organized, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to give advice about visiting Petra and the surrounding areas. The rooms are comfortable, with good beds and clean bathrooms, and the common areas are perfect for relaxing or meeting other travelers. The food is very nice, fresh, and tasty, which makes the stay even better. The location is excellent very close to the Petra Visitor Center, making early morning visits easy. A big plus is the daily shuttle service to Wadi Rum, which is very convenient and well organized. Overall, it offers amazing value for money and truly feels like a home away from home. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Petra."

"All good, location, staff, cabins, food, good wifi. They offer a good and abundant dinner for 7 dinars. They have a smoking room, which is quite admirable nowadays. Cabins are spacious and you have all the privacy you want. Toilets and showers are constantly cleaned and quite spacious as well. Location is close to the visitor centre, which is definitely a plus if you're visiting Petra in more than one day like I did. Good restaurants and supermarkets at 5-7 Min walk. Excellent WiFi and decent space with sofas and tables to do some work."
