"The host was very good at communicating with us on the day of check in and the instructions for check in were clear and easy to follow. He even allowed us to check in early and upgraded our apartment due to availability, which was a lovely surprise. The gardens and pool at White Sands are beautiful and well kept. The surrounding area has a rural feeling but it is only about a 10 min walk to get to the beautiful Porto Istana beach. I would recommend having a car if you are visiting this area as walking to murta maria would be a bit hard going in the summer. On the day of checkout, we were informed we could continue to use the common facilities at white sands including pool, parking and shower area until we needed to go to the airport. The host was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return. Oh and the air conditioning worked very well!"

"There are lots of mosquitos in the whole area, which cannot be avoided in a natural costal area like this...but definitely take mosquito repellent."

"My wife and I arrived. We stayed in room 16. The room was large, clean and had everything you need for a stay. A family with two children can easily stay. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment and utensils to cook food, a large refrigerator. There are tables and chairs outside each room, where we had a nice time. There is nature all around and it is very quiet, calm, there are many flowers on the territory and around. But take mosquito repellent with you. The pool is warm and clean, it is pleasant to swim. The beach is within walking distance. Special thanks to Sandro at the reception. He prepared everything in advance for us, we quickly and easily checked in. Then he kindly took us further to San Teodoro. The management should give him an award for his excellent approach to customers! I highly recommend staying here!"

"This is a beautiful place. The pool is kept very clean and the gardens are beautiful too. The staff team are lovely And the beaches only a five minute walk away are lovely too. But go early!"

"Only very small details like there being no salad spinner! We chose to eat in a lot and would have really appreciated one. Other than that, all was and is good."

"The grounds were very well maintained. The pool was fabulous. The staff friendly, helpful and responded VERY quickly. It was quiet and located just a short walk away from a great beach with crystal water and soft sand. Highly recommend!"

"We are family of 5 and the biggest problem was kitchen equipment (2 spoons, 3 knives, 4 plates..). As it is residence with kitchenette, there is no place in surrounding where you can go for breakfast (unless you drive to the closest village), it was quite annoying. As already mentioned wi-fi has very bad signal."
