"Absolutely stunning Villa style hotel away from civilization on a large private property / forest - you can even make a short hike there to go to top of the mountain and enjoy the sea view. We had the Prestige room with sea view - very clean, it was cleaned and refreshed twice a day. A beautiful and lovely place for couples to chill out. I can imagine that it's a great spot for weddings. Olga from reception was great in taking care of our wishes. She organized a dinner at a nice restaurant in the town. Drinks and pool towels were available. Pool was nice and a plenty of space available. There were always 1-2 other couples there. Sometimes we were alone (July)."

"The breakfast was a little too small for my taste as I am used to international travelling in 5* hotels. No vegetables. Only small selection of food - most was sweet but maybe it's the Italian culture of breakfast? Unfortunately the Michelin awarded (no star) restaurant was closed for two consecutive days while we were there - we went one evening to a 1* Michelin restaurant in the town (10 minutes away) which was great."

"Since there were hardly any other guests during our 5-night stay (early September), we had the pool and the restaurant to ourselves. The staff - reception and breakfast - was very friendly and accommodating."

"While probably a lovely event venue, this is NOT a hotel in the traditional sense, much less a 5-star property; they're just accepting guests in between events, and using the property to promote the owner's wine & jewelry businesses. Though clean & trendy, it provides none of the special services or amenities expected of a 5-star property - all those "little things" that "make the difference" are missing. For example, nothing to welcome you to the hotel or the room, only one chair in the spartan "Deluxe Double Room w/Sea View," no printed breakfast menu, no exhaust fan & poor lighting in bathroom, no bedside floor mats, non-sustainable toiletries, no poolside service (not even an ashtray!), and the grounds were terribly maintained (weeds everywhere)."

"This is by far the best hotel I have seen in the last year or two (out of about 100-120 where I have stayed). Those who need to stop for the night on their way through Italy will not find a better place. Those looking for a relaxing, secluded getaway will find exceptional views, comfortable rooms and fantastic staff. Those who did not intend to come here at all should come at least for the sake of real "haute" cuisine."
