With a picturesque location in the valley, Langtauferer Hof is 9 km outside Curon Venosta. Set 1,870 metres above the sea level, it offers a rooftop wellness centre with a sauna, Turkish bath and hot tub. The alpine-style rooms are all cosy and comfortable with carpeted or wooden floors and a seating area. You will find a safe, minibar and TV with satellite channels in certain rooms. All units come with a private bathroom. A buffet breakfast including South Tyrol specialities is available until 10:00 each morning. The univers culinari is open at lunch and dinner and specialises in regional dishes. Langtauferer Hof is family run. It features a winter garden and a bar decorated completely in wood. The wellness centre also includes a large relaxation area with water beds and hydrotherapy showers. Passo Resia ski slopes are a few minutes' drive away. Staff organise guided tours and excursions in the mountains.

"Not sure where to start, but this is one of the nicest places I ever stayed at. Everyone working in the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. The room I stayed at was very nice and has a great view in two directions. All the food was excellent and healthy! Surroundings are great for hikes. Little bit challenging on the bike - as it goes uphill. Easy to park a car on location. Roof top sauna with great view."

"Der kostenfreie Parkplatz hätte einmal nach dem starken Schneefall beräumt werden müssen. Nachdem es tagsüber taute und nachts wieder fror, war es gefährlich glatt bzw. extrem uneben. Das ist aber schon der wirklich einzige Kritikpunkt."

"Frühstück: sehr große Auswahl und hohe Qualität. Abendessen: 4-Gänge Menü. Vorspeise und Hauptspeise hatten jeweils zwei wählbare Optionen. Dazu ein Salatbuffet und eine Nachspeise. Es wurde nicht langweilig und alles, was wir aßen, war ausnahmslos sehr lecker. Wellness: auf dem Dach schöne Panorama-Sauna (90 °C) mit Blick auf die Berge + Whirlpool. Täglich zwei Themen-Aufgüsse. Dazu ein Wellness-Bereich im UG, welchen wir nicht nutzten, der aber auch sehr ansprechend war. Lage: fast am Ende einer Sackgasse, daher kein Durchgangsverkehr und sehr ruhig - genau wonach wir gesucht haben. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Schneeschuhwanderungen."
