The dinner It was out of scope experience in Casa Saltara, we liked the family history behind the scenes and the location of the property. Our bungalow was 3* star max, quite old and outdated, but clean."

"well, maybe the bungalow itself, which could be a bit more in shape and renovated. The bed was too soft and not high quality, but for a short stay no complains, just mentioning. It gives the camping feeling to those who does not expect too much luxury, just the basics :)"

"Overall, the property is very well maintained and has a really nice main house. The pool area is very pretty and the stuff is helpful and friendly. You are provided with pool towels, which is handy. The house has parking directly on the location and is close by Santa Teresa."

"I felt for the price and expectations based the previous that it was ok but not exceptional. I stayed in a little bungalow and what I didn’t like was that the bathroom had a super strong smell from the drains, having to close the doors and the mattresses were super soft. The breakfast felt average and a little flat, I would have preferred to have a buffet. What I missed was vegetables and more choice than 1 sort of cheese and ham. big problem was the wasps, it was super hard to eat outside as 20 wasps were over the food and also tbf not nice for the staff, good option would have been to make some traps or similar to eat in peace. Last thing the dinner, disconnected from the hotel stay but at the property was in my eyes not fair for price. Portions are tiny in the attempt for fine dining, food ok but not special and prices are overasking, equal to Swiss Zurich prices. Overall nice location & house but would have expected more."

"The setting of the restaurant, bar and pool is stunning. It is beautifully furnished and the staff attentive and helpful - all we interacted with were friendly and relaxed. Special thanks to the woman who served us breakfast each morning. The included breakfast was generous and varied each day, and we also ate in the restaurant two nights - under the tree with lights it is beautiful. The bungalows look a little plain from the outside but are neatly furnished inside and we’re always cleaned spotless each day. Air conditioned, charging outlets near the bed and coffee pod machine on hand, plus nice toiletries were positives."

"Only that the restaurant staff were so enthusiastic that a couple of details were missed and both my meals were not correct each night we dined there. I definitely accept some of this is due to my poor Italian, but perhaps having a dedicated waiter per table would resolve miscommunication and offer a more personal dining experience. The food was still delicious and errors resolved so certainly not worth losing a rating over!"
