The complimentary mini bar was a man unusual touch. The food in the Torfhus restaurant was EXCEPTIONAL, absolutely divine and the staff were lovely."

"The guest house is in a beautiful location conveniently located for all the golden circle sights. Our room was warm and cosy and we loved the outside hot tub. The breakfasts and the dinners were all delicious and the staff were super friendly and helpful."

"The hotel advertised a service to wake us up if there were a chance of seeing the northern lights which we were very keen on and therefore signed up. We were disappointed to find out the next morning that other guests had seen the lights but we hadnt been alerted. We were more proactive after that and downloaded an app to alert us and in fact saw some fabulous lights in Reykjavik the following night."

"A wonderful and picturesque hotel with amazing staff! Fantastic room with access to a hot pool, beautiful scenery in the middle of the nature with horses around. The dinners were also a highlight of the stay, absolutely delicious!"
