North Star Cottage

Overlooking the Eyjafjöll Mountains, these self-catering cottages include a kitchenette and furnished terrace. They are located by Eyjafjallajökull Glacier, 1 minutes’ drive from Iceland’s Ring Road. Eyjafjallajökull Visitor Centre is located on site. Self-service check-in is also featured. North Star Cottage has wooden interiors, a seating area and an outdoor patio. The cottages have a bathroom with shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. Horse riding is possible in Skálakot, a 10-minute drive away. The Skógafoss Waterfall is a 10-minute drive away. Seljavellir Public Swimming Pool is a 20-minute drive from the cottages.

"The cottage was clean and they put an extra double bed for us, as we were 4. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen, although it was small, had everything we needed to cook a meal. The location is excellent and we had no trouble getting in. Everything went great!"
